(57)【要約】 【課題】 静電塗装装置の制御方法、及び放出される塗 装粉末の形を可能な最小の努力で変化でき、かつ加工品 の形に適合させることができる新規な静電塗装装置を得 る。 【解決の手段】 静電的に帯電させられた塗装粉末を加 工品へ放出する静電塗装装置を制御する方法において、 放出された塗装媒体の速さと、量と、質量流量と、成形 空気流との少なくとも1つを制御することによって、放 出された塗装媒体の形を加工品の形に従って自動的に調 整するものである。この方法によって動作できる塗装装 置にも関するものである。
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically regulate the shape of a coating powder (in a spray state) according to the shape of a fabricated article by controlling at least, one of the velocity, quantity, mass flow rate or a molding air current of a coating medium, when an electrostatic coating process to spray an electrostatically charged coating powder to the fabricated article, is performed. SOLUTION: A plurality (5 pcs) of coating modules consisting of a digital controller 60, an ejector actuator 64 and spray gunss 66(66-1-66-n) are provided and each of the coating modules is connected to a common inner bus 80. In addition, a gap controller 86, a powder level controller 88, a position controller 90 and a motion controller 92 are connected to the inner bus 80. Further, a powder sensor 102, a layer thickness measuring device 107, a layer thickness controller 108, a suction controller 109, a fabricated article detection/ identification device 111, a feed air generator 112 and the like are connected to a central control unit 82. Thus it is possible to regulate the atomization state of a coating powder in accordance with the shape of a fabricated article by controlling the velocity, quantity and mass flow rate of the coating powder, a molding air current and the like.
