(57)【要約】 【課題】 少なくとも半径方向に膨らますことができる 材料で作った実質的にチュ−ブ状基礎本体を含むチュ− ブ状人工器官を提供する。 【解決手段】 本発明に係るチュ−ブ状人工器官は、膨 張可能で硬化性材料で作った人工器官の周りに延在する 少なくとも1つのリッジを備えている。さらに、このリ ッジはそれ自身の長さ方向に延在する強化繊維を含む。
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a predetermined annular strength by extending a ridge around a tube-like artificial organ which can radially inflate. SOLUTION: A tube-like artificial organ 1 is laid in a well-known manner such as around a balloon member 5 of a catheter 2. A tube-like outer body 3 and a tube-like inner body 4 are extended through the inner cavity of the organ 1. A medium is fed through the tube-like outer body 3 so as to inflate the balloon member 5. This artificial organ l is composed of a base body 10 made of a flexible material, and a ridge 11 itself having a relatively high annular strength which can effect a high compression resistance in the artificial organ. The ridge 11 is composed of a hardenable material and several reinforcing fibers 12 embedded in the former, and then the hardenbable material is cured by irradiation of UV light. The ridges 11 are protruded from the outer surface of the base body 10. With this arrangement, the blood vessel is firmly gripped so as to prevent the artificial organ from longitudinally shifting.
